Editorial policy
Stellar Resource aims to make material subjects clear, accurate and useful without disguising uncertainty. Our editorial decisions are guided by the subject and the reader, not by a partner's preferred conclusion.
Accuracy and sources
We check factual claims against appropriate, reliable information and take care with technical descriptions, dates and material names. Articles are written to distinguish broad explanations from details that depend on a particular product, process or context. We do not claim that an example represents every material or use.
Independence
Editorial choices, article conclusions and corrections are made on editorial grounds. A partnership does not buy favourable coverage, and commercial arrangements do not determine the conclusions in independent editorial work.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and the point at issue. We review specific, credible correction requests and amend material when warranted, making the nature of a significant correction clear.
Partner material
Material created for a partner, paid placement and other commercial content is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Partner relationships do not imply editorial endorsement.
Materials shape how things feel and endure
A material is never just a finish. Its character affects how an object is made, handled, cared for and kept.
