Stellar Resource welcomes thoughtful proposals about materials and the objects made from them. A strong contribution makes a specific subject clear to a curious reader without leaning on specialist access or unsupported claims.

What we welcome

We are interested in clear explanations of material properties, accounts of how familiar things are made, considered comparisons, design history and grounded pieces on care or reuse. We welcome different formats and perspectives, provided the subject fits the publication and can be handled responsibly.

What makes a pitch work

Tell us the subject, the central question and what a reader will understand by the end. Name the material or object at the heart of the piece, explain what makes the angle distinct and flag any claims that would need careful checking. A focused idea is more useful than a broad list of possible topics.
